The coin of Ukraine minted in 2006 commemorates the XX Olympics in Turin. The 10-hryvnias silver piece depicts one of the sports represented on Winter Olympic Games, the luge. The obverse of the collectible coin shows the symbol of the Olympics, the burning torch, next to the Ukrainian state emblem and the denomination of the silver piece.

The background shows the stylized luge track; there are legends explaining the name of the issuing bank and the year of producing. The rate of the precious metal and weight of the item are indicated on the same surface as well. The reverse is occupied by the relief image of the female luger on the track. The national emblem and the Olympic emblem combined are minted next to the image.

The name of the Olympiad in Ukrainian and English are explained along the line of the luge track. Gross weight (g): 95.0.
